Articulate’s #musicmonday (please RT) the mixtape

Whatup world? Just a couple updates, shoutouts and such.

In case you have been living under a rock (lol), I dropped a quick little mixtape on Monday called  #musicmonday (please RT) the mixtape. The title is a play on the  Twitter world’s customary ‘#musicmonday”, but its not strictly for those on Twitter. Nothing too crazy, just real simple (like the cover lol) straight lyrical joints on all different kinds of beats ranging from Wu-Tang, to Drag-on, to Gucci Mane, to Max B, to Wale, The Veronicas, and more. Plus a few features. So tell a friend to tell a friend to check it out!

I’ve been getting a good amount of downloads, and I thank everyone who has been downloading it, checking it out, and giving me positive feedback!

I have been getting some complaints though that I don’t have a link to stream it, only this download link. Well, actually I do have places where you can stream it, I would just rather you download the mp3s and put it on you iPod, burn it for the whip, and share it with friends, but for those who are using someone else’s computer or can’t download it for some other reason, here are two music players where you can stream the mixtape:

What’s up everyone. I’ve been kinda busy, haven’t really had time to post in a minute, but the bloggery shall resume shortly. This past weekend (Sunday March 29th, 2009 to be exact) was my 22nd birthday (hence the ‘22 2’s in your title bar), and I got it poppin in DC and Baltimore. Shout out to everyone who wished me well and made it special. The party shall continue!!

Coming up you can definitely expect a lot more music at a more rapid pace–probably towards the end of the month. Look out for The Warmup (finally lol I planned on dropping that in December!), The Killah Tape (all my mixtape freestyles where I’m just dumbing out), Bombs Over Baltimore Vol. 2 (that club music ish), plus projects with super-producer Rickie Jacobs, DJ extraordinaire DJ X-Factor, and one of my favorite music websites rockthedub.com.

Also look out for me on songs with Pendragon, King Kan, Bex, and more, plus production from D-Tox, Rickie Jacobs, Nastay TraXXX, and Sakwe.

Show wise, come see me perform in Jackson, MS on April 22nd and in Morgantown, WV with Tay and NYcist on May 2nd. I know a lot of people wanna see me in Baltimore, and I had something lined up but due to some unfortunate nignorance (new vocab for the summer) it was cancelled. Any Bmore promoters wanna book me holla!

I’m also working on the site, so bear with me. just trying to spiff it up a little bit and reorganize it a little bit.
